We are sometimes available to people who find themselves needing a cheap place to stay for 1 or 2 nights near the airport. We live between Narita International Airport and Tokyo Station; about 30 minutes train trip from Tokyo or 50 minutes from Narita.

So, you have an emergency, give us a call at 81-474-69-8080.
(Within Japan, you must dial 0474-69-7080.)

Directions from Narita Airport:

(This is for people who do not need to be met at the airport.)
Picture of our house front
  1. Take the Keisei Line train to Keisei Tsudanuma. Don't take the JR--it is slower, more expensive and does not come as close to us as the Shin Keisei. You can not go the wrong way because both lines start at the airport.
  2. Change to the Shin Keisei Line. Get on the train which goes to Matsudo City (go up stairs and down again).
  3. Get off at Shin Keisei Maebara, the second stop from Keisei Line Tsudanuma.

Directions coming from Tokyo

  1. From Tokyo Station, get on the JR Sobu-Yokosuka Express line going to Chiba (Do not take the special NEX super express to Narita Airport) OR...
  2. From Shinjuku or Ochanomizu, take the JR Sobu local train bound for Chiba
  3. Get off at Tsudanuma station. Turn to your left when coming out the ticket gate and leave the station, coming out on a plaza. Just before crossing the bridge straight ahead, take the down stairway to the right, which should bring you to Bus Stand #6
  4. Take any bus leaving from #6 - destinations might be Chiba byouin, Higashi funabashi or Koudan Higashi Guchi and numbers could be 10, 11 or 14. All of them are ok.
  5. Get off at the "kanri jimusho mae" stop - about 7 minutes in normal traffic. This is just past a Seven-Eleven on the left.
  6. Give us a call and we will meet you. Whoops, if you don't have a phone I should have mentioned to call from JR Tsudanuma station.

Cost:

The train fare to the airport from our home is about $8.00. We are reluctant to put a dollar figure on hospitality--please consider a contribution toward our ministry.
