Mission to Unreached Peoples is a broadly interdenominational agency which focuses on unreached people groups.

Financial Policies and Guidelines
  1. As members of Mission to Unreached Peoples, each individual or family member is responsible to provide for or raise their own support. The organization does not pay salaries.
  2. This includes all full-time North American administrative personnel who also are responsible to raise all or at least a majority of their financial support.
  3. A personalized budget, per organizational guidelines, is established upon acceptance of personnel by the organization and is evaluated yearly or as required to reflect the costs of various locations.
  4. Each personalized budget establishes minimum support levels in order for personnel to leave for or stay on an assignment.
  5. As a matter of effective witness, personnel are encouraged to adopt a lifestyle as close as healthfully possible or financially viable to local lifestyles.
  6. The amount identified on the personalized budget as personal income is the upper limit of personal support allowed.
  7. The personalized budget for personnel includes personal, work funds, as-needed funds, and outgoing costs. Some are mandatory and some are optional, per each personnel.
  8. We value each gift, large and small, and will respond immediately with receipts and promptly with thanks.
  9. Our finances are always an "open book," and audit reports, 990's and other financial reports are made available to anyone both in public postings and upon request.
  10. We respond promptly and with courtesy and with relevant information to financial and general inquiries from the public.
  11. For non-cash gifts, the organization provides the donor with a letter acknowledging receipt of the gifts. It is the donor's responsibility to establish a value of the non-cash donation.
  12. Non-cash gifts of property to the organization are normally converted to cash or cash equivalents and made available for ministry objectives in a timely manner after receipt.
  13. We encourage donors to support Mission to Unreached Peoples only after financial obligations to a local church are fulfilled.
  14. Although we accept credit cards for donations, we encourage all of God's people to wisely use the resources God has given them including wise use of credit cards and in as much as possible avoidance of credit card debt.
  15. In accordance with IRS regulations, tax-deductible gifts are made with the understanding that Mission to Unreached Peoples will administer and disburse these funds under the supervision of the Board of Directors consistent with the non-profit objectives of the organization. Every effort will be made to apply your gift according to your designation.
  16. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or otherwise disclose your personal information outside the organization. Please follow this link for more information on our Privacy Policy.
