Financial Accountability

When you give to Mission to Unreached Peoples, you can be sure that your gift will be handled properly. Here are just a few reasons why:

• In the United States, Mission to Unreached Peoples is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and The Mission Exchange (formerly EFMA). This accountability is your assurance that your gift is administered wisely and that all our accounts are audited annually.
  
• We are non-denominational and have a tax-deductible status in the US with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and in Canada as a Registered Charitable Society.
• All Mission to Unreached Peoples finances are subject to regular review by a board executive committee and the U.S. Board of Directors.
• Our fundraising and administrative costs (including support for administrative personnel in North America) are low, using a combined total of just 16.5 percent of total mission income. All other funds go directly toward the support of missionaries and their ministries to people in need.
• Mission to Unreached Peoples has received a 3-star rating from Charity Navigator.
• Mission to Unreached Peoples has a historic and ongoing policy against going into debt. No program or ministry goes forward until funds are in hand to provide for that need.
