Mission to Unreached Peoples has a history over 15 years of sending and equipping tentmakers. We champion the potential of lay people in missions and in partnership with like-minded organizations help train, place, and support vocational workers, often in countries closed to traditional missionaries.
The theological foundation of Mission to Unreached Peoples and the tentmaking movement is the Marketplace movement, the priesthood of all believers applied to the Great Commission. We all have roles to play.
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." I Peter 2:9
"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be build up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13.
